Introduction to design of fuzzy controller

While designing a fuzzy controller more design decisions have to be taken than usual, for making rule base, inference engine, defuzzification, and data pre-and post processing. In this tutorial paper attempts have been made to identify and describe the design choices related to single-loop fuzzy control, that is based on standards accepted internationally. The paper also tells about a design approach, which uses a PID controller as a starting point then there after fuzzy controller is added along with PID controller. This paper can be viewed as an introduction todesign of fuzzy controller.
