Abstract

Today's competitive environment pushes the companies all over the world to work as hard as possible to compete with others. In such a demanding environment, employees are losing the balance between their personal life and work life. To enhance the quality of life of the employees, organizations are adopting the flexible working arrangements which allows their employees to maintain a good work-life balance. The study majorly talks about job sharing. Main objective of the study is to find out the pros and cons of job sharing, and how is it being implemented in various organization round the globe. The study concludes that job sharing has a positive effect on the employees and the employers. Also, it empowers the working women.
