Teaching aptitude of college students in technical and non technical discipline in relation to their parental occupation

The study was conducted to find out teaching aptitude of college students in technical and non-technical discipline in relation to their parental occupation. The objectives of the study were (1) To find out the difference in the teaching aptitude of college students belonging to technical and non-technical discipline (2) To find out the difference in the teaching aptitude of college students belonging to technical and non-technical discipline respect to their parental occupation. The investigator has selected 200 students Lovely Professional University technical and nontechnical discipline as sample through stratified random sampling technique. The investigator has used, Teaching Aptitude Test Battery (T A T B) developed and standardized by Singh and Sharma (2005) for measuring teaching aptitude, The investigator used general information sheet for parental occupation. For analysis and interpretations of result the investigator used statistical techniques like t-test and one way-Anova. The findings of the study were (1) Technical and nontechnical college students do not differ in their teaching aptitude.(2) Technical college students do not differ in their teaching aptitude with respect to their parental occupation. (3)Non Technical college students do not differ in their teaching aptitude with respect to their parental occupation. (4) Technical and non technical college students do not differ in their teaching aptitude with respect to their parental occupation.
