A comparative study on hospital services of selected government, trust and private hospitals in Gujarat

Service Industries play a pivotal role in the development of a nation. Service Industries represent a very substantial portion of both domestic and international trade. Health care is one of most important service sector among the other service sector. Health is one of the most significant indicators for socio-economic development of a nation. Hospitals provide different type of services for the patient care. The paper analysed the comparative study of Hospital services provided by Government, Trust and Private Hospitals functioning in Gujarat. Government Hospitals were providing most of the facilities compared to Trust and Private Hospitals in the state. Government sanction grant for health facilities in the government hospitals. Government should sanction special grant to Trust Hospitals for infrastructure facilities and purchase of surgical instrument.
