Comparison of financial performance of top five most admired companies as per cnn money

The objective of this research paper is to present a comparative analysis of financial figures (income statements) of top 5 most admired companies as declared by money.cnn.com. The top 5 companies declared are Apple, Amazon, Google, Berkshire Hathaway and Starbucks. For the study financial figures (income statement) for three years has been taken as a secondary data from the official portal of Wall Street Journal. Stock prices of last one year have also been taken and studied. The paper presents a picture of financial performance of individual companies. It is concluded that the Companies have more or less performed in line with their rankings in terms of financials for the financial year ended 2013
