GESCOM serves districts-Gulbarga zone, Kolar, Tumkur, Chitradurga and Davanagere. The company has three operating zones – Gulbarga Metropolitan Area Zone, Gulbarga Rural Area Zone and Chitradurga Zone. Total 3444 employees are working in GESCOM. The present study is made to assess the training for the employees working in GESCOM. Training helps to improve productivity and increase hardwork of employees in any industry. Hence, GESCOM is conducting training to its employees at regular intervals. But, it is essential to analyze the training needs of employees and based on these needs, specific training should be given to employees.
