Industry academic partnership in B-Schools is the most debatable topics in the present scenario because of many factors. The talent crunch, global phenomena of LPG and information technology revolution, competitive business strategy, skill shortage, skill change and global job uncertainty, and many more are drawing the attention of Statutory Bodies such as AICTE, UGC and industry associations like CII, NASSCOM, FICCI with an effort to partner with each other for mutual benefit. Besides, the changes and challenges in the way of doing business have challenged the traditional pattern of skill and knowledge requirement compelled the organizations to move forward in the path of survival through competition. This article highlights some of the important challenges and changes required for making the industry academic partnership programme mutually beneficial.
