Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the asset management resulting through person-job fit and person organization fit on employees' work engagement. Work engagement reported to have positive significant impact towards individual performance, and organizational performance and success. Person-job fit and person-organization fit which were measured using complementary demands abilities fit was claimed to influence positive human behaviour, especially engaging employees. This study focused on how employees' knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) fit the demands of the job (person-job fit) and the organization (person-organization fit) that could be used in enhancing employees' asset management techniques. The main objective of this research is to determine the employee engagement, increased productivity, happiness and job satisfaction resulting through proper PJ fit and PO fit among IT professionals in Chennai, Indian scenario. The result of the shows that increasing demand for utility services, diminishing resources, levelling of production efficiencies, increasing restrictions on output and aging infrastructure has beenasset management techniques resulting through proper P-J fit and P-O fit among IT professionals in Chennai, Indian scenario.
