Corporate Social Responsibility, often abbreviated as "CSR", is a corporation's initiatives to assess and take responsibility for the company's activities on environmental and social wellbeing. It is done to bring about social and behavioural change in the society at large. The aim of the study was to study the Development Communication Approaches, Strategies and the problems faced by the selected industries with relation to CSR Activities. The methodology used for collection of data was purposive random sampling of the population of selected industries of Gujarat state. The present study throws light on the Development Communication approaches and strategies adopted by the selected industries to carry out their CSR activities in Gujarat state. Further the analysis of the problem faced by the industries if any was also one of the objectives of the present research.
