The main objective of the central government is financial inclusion, which means the availability of financial and banking services to all corners of the nation. Prime Minister launched schemes namely Prandhan Mantri Jhan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), Demonetization etc. for the purpose of financial inclusion. NITI Aayog also announced two more schemes namely Lucky Grahak Yojana (LGY) and Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana (DDVY) for the promotion of cashless transactions. The study has been conducted and tries to find out that the awareness rate of lucky Grahak Yojana in Prakasam district, which is located in Andhra Pradesh. For the purpose of the study, both primary data and secondary data have been collected. The study is conducted in and around the municipalities of prakasam district comprising of Ongole, Chirala, Markapur and Kandukur. The sample size is 248 with different education backgrounds and professional difference. The study revealed that the awareness level of the scheme is good in government employees and at the same time it is poor in students and businessmen.
