This progression is in sync with the profound Socio-Cultural and lifestyle changes across the world. On the other hand the dire consequences, which unfortunately the excess visitation and the insensitive tourist behavior inflict on fragile tourism destinations is quite alarming. In recent years, the concept of Nature Based Tourism has captured the attention of tourists who are Nature Seekers, Eco-Warriors and Conservationists. The efficacy of various activities in Rainforests Retreat [Coorg] such as Trekking, Organic Cultivation, Bird Watching, Eco-Documentation, Mojo Plantation Tour is examined in this work. Further, the USP's of the Retreat such as Preservation of Endemic Species, Green Environment and utilization of Renewable sources of energy, Solid Waste Management, Research are dealt with this Paper. Deliver on the Green Tourism agenda promoted by the nature based tourism ventures by gauging how far the environmental education is provided to the quests and also to probe to what extent, pragmatically, the property understudy has been able to abide by the Ecological Ethics. The present work employs the case study method to comprehensively analyses the endeavors of Rainforest Retreat which is renowned Eco-Lodge located at the Mojo Plantation in Kodagu district of Karnataka. This study attempts to unveil the sustainable practices and that tremendously contribute to the preservation and protection of various Flora and Fauna in the place. Underscoring the ideal of ‘Tourism being in oneness with Nature’. Thematic Analysis of Experts’ Opinion and relevant Secondary data has been carried out to derive Inference.
