Abstract

A collection of various benefits provided by the banker, which are exempt from taxation as long as certain conditions are met. Any consumers who receive taxable fringe benefits will have to include the fair market value of the benefit in their taxable income for the year, which will be subject to tax withholdings, and social security benefits payments. “Banking and Plastic card” explains the role of credit card which has far reaching effects. The Bank card functions are explained in the detail particularly the different types of bank cards in the market place. These include Credit cards; check guarantee cards, debit card and the like. Simultaneously the key concern on the bank management has also been discussed with some strategies. This paper is based on two research questions which intended to investigate awareness of the availability and perceptions of the fringe benefit, analyzing the relationship between personal factors and awareness and utilization of fringe benefits and the benefits provided by the banks to their credit card holders.
