HR is complete human being; economic social & psychological, employees enter an organisation with their values, sentiments, aptitudes etc. HR competency are developed over a period through HRD. Each employee should be managed different based, on background expectations, values. It has become more significant and assumes greater importance in era of open economy and cutting edge competition. Successful organizations realize by having an effective employee retention plan which help them to sustain their leadership and growth in the marketplace. Good organizations make employee retention a core element of their talent management strategy and organizational development process. Though many organizations understand the significance of retention of talent, it is the way they implement makes it success. Retaining employees involves, understanding employees critical skills, knowledge & attributes required to execute the company's most important roles, paying retention. Over 50% of people recruited into an organization will leave within 2 years. People do not leave the organization only for money reason, other factors also contribute towards it. Corporate and HR professionals are busy devising new and innovative management practices and ideas towards keeping their personnel motivated, satisfied and always available for giving their best efforts towards achieving organizational goals and objectives. Keeping the above in view new ideas and practices, tools have developed and are in practice in organization of all sizes. Hence talent is said to be corporate gold dust. This paper covers partly the theoretical concepts and partly the empirical study which gives the inclusion of talent retention in service sectors. The paper aims to analyze the changing features and provides an insight on the implication of talent retention management in national(HRM) and international context(IHRM).
