This Paper makes a lucid attempt to Study the Employee Attrition in E-Publishing Companies in Puducherry (Pondicherry, UT of India). Attrition is said to be the gradual reduction in the number of employees through retirement, resignation or death. There is a Plenty of Opportunities available in E-Publishing Industry. Probably Every Month People moves out from One Company and joins with other Team. This made the Researcher to find out the Factors that influences the Employee Attrition in E-Publishing Companies in Puducherry. The study was mainly undertaken to identify the level of employee's attitude, the dissatisfaction factors they face in the organization and for what reason they prefer to change their job. This paper highlights some strategies on how to minimize Employee Attrition in organizations. This Study involves the Descriptive and Causal Research; Data was collected from both the Primary and Secondary Source. The Entire Population of this Study was nearly 1300 from which the Sample drawn was 380 and the Convenience Sampling was used to select the items. Pre-determined Questionnaire was constructed with 5 Point Rating Scale (1-SA, 2-A, 3-N, 4-DA, and 5-SDA) to Collect the Data. Univariate (Percentage Method) and Multivariate Analysis (Factor Analysis) are used to find out the Results. From the Factor Analysis, it was found that four factors that influences the Employee Attrition in E-Publishing Companies in Puducherry such as Performance Appraisal, Relationship with Supervisor, Burden of Work and Personal or Other Factors. Some Suitable Suggestions are given for this Study such as Performance Appraisal System shall be taken with utmost care, monitoring the Relation between the Supervisor & the Corresponding Team Members and the Employees may be given the reasonable work load.
