In this paper, a statistical analysis is represented on financial data related to Apollo Global Management, LLC, a prominent global private equity firm, from the viewpoint of an important measure of financial performance, i.e. Economic Net Income, and also its components using Descriptive Statistics, Bivariate Correlation Test, and Curve Estimation. This analysis has been accomplished to identify the correlation between the aforementioned measure of financial performance and its components, and ultimately to estimate relative variation patterns of the former in terms of time and also its significantly-correlated components. Such patterns can be utilized to estimate and evaluate the values of Economic Net Income as a measure of the firm's financial performance based on expected or observed values of its main determinative components. This paper mainly aims to represent a beneficial analytical approach to assess financial performance of a private equity firm and effectiveness and efficiency of strategies of private equity investment in various industries.
