Abstract

This study describes about the attitude of youth towards fast food.

A descriptive research was conducted on youth (n= 50, male = 22, female = 28) in the age group of 18 to 24 years in district Jalandhar in the state of Punjab. Independent sample‘t’ test was used to analyze whether amongst youth of district Jalandhar, there exist any significant difference between the attitude of males and females towards fast food.

We accept the null hypothesis that there is no significant difference between the attitude of male and female population towards fast food in the age group of 18 to 24 years in the district of Jalandhar.

This study provides clear evidence that the attitude of youth (male and female both) towards fast food in district Jalandhar is the same and on the basis of sex there exist no significant difference between the two.
