This account critically reports developed world agricultural subsidies its necessity as well as political concerns and compulsions and social needs in comparison to other developing countries specially India, It also examines fertilizers subsidies in India state wise and farm size also. Major objective of this study is it worthwhile to continue subsidies or to be phased out and to present the picture of actual receivers of these or negative taxation.
