Abstract

The aim of the study is to explore the effects of consumers towards M commerce and their perception and security concerns towards mobile banking.

The study population consisted of various age groups in Rajasthan. Descriptive research method was used in the study. The three cities from Rajasthan chosen for study are Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur. The sampling technique used was convenience sampling technique.

The results show that the customers feel that transaction fee for mobile banking are high. It is also seen that people will prefer mobile banking if incentives were provided. Monetary transaction risk attached with it should be reduced so that users can consider it safe and reliable.

Banks are nowadays trying to improve their ways of providing financial services to their demanding customers. Some institutions are understanding the challenges posed by new technology adoption. The study could help the banking industry achieve its vision. The banking industry should understand and reduce the barriers of mobile banking and make efforts to provide efficient facilities to improve their business performance to a great extent.
