Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises constitute over 95 per cent of all enterprises and account for two third to one half of total nonfarm employment and GDP Worldwide. The prime intent of the present paper is to study the Good governance framework for MSMEs. Corporate governance is a concept which includes the appropriate management and control structures of an enterprise. The intention of this paper is to give explanation the Characteristics of corporate governance. In India, corporate governance initiatives have been undertaken by the ministry of corporate affairs (MCA) and the securities and exchange board of India (SEBI). The first formal regulatory framework for listed companies, specifically for corporate governance was established by the SEBI in February 2000
