Abstract

World over concept of Job Satisfaction is extensively researched and explored in various sectors, in relation to workforce motivation and productivity across the various demographic features. Impact of Job Satisfaction and its importance in Organizations cannot be underrated; it is believed that highly satisfied employees will work harder in order to contribute to Organization's Performance. This study was conducted in Management Institutes of Pune to Identify the Potential Factors related to Job and Job Design, causing Satisfaction to the Management Faculty Members. Based on the results of Factor Analysis, the proposed exploratory research has found Nine Potential Factors of Job Satisfaction namely; Organizational Resource & Work Environment, Expert Power, Task Significance and Task Identity, Career Progression and Continuance Commitment, Personal Power, Stress Free Job, Job Pride, Work Autonomy and Working Hours. These factors may be incorporated while designing the Jobs of Educators, so as to make these jobs motivating, meaningful and fulfilling.
