Abstract

In recent years when people have turned conscious regarding health and fitness, a beverage that is progressively seeking attention and is immensely revolutionizing is Green Tea. It's been treated as a wonder drink that is proclaimed to have many amazing health benefits. In fact its been asserted that the reason behind the long life of Japanese is their healthy food habits, including daily consumption of super food-green tea. Green tea is said to be rich in antioxidants and nutrients that are being regarded highly good for health. The increasing fascination towards green tea has revolutionized the tea industry as well. Many big players have shifted their major thrust in tapping this budding opportunity. Winds of green tea are so profound that many small local farmers have also started growing green tea. Some small growers have also started making organic handmade tea. The revolution in the segment has generated employment opportunities for many and has given new direction to the industry. The product is so positioned with ample benefits that it can appeal even to non-tea drinkers. Thus green tea is really turning everything green.
