Abstract

The present study aims to evaluate the various aspects and thoughts related to retention and job hopping which are emerging issues in the area of human resource management. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the various concepts and studies related to job hopping and retention conducted by various researchers. The focus of this study is to evaluate and compare the views and thoughts given by different researchers in this area. Job hopping is a new concept in the field of human resource management and less work has been done in this area. So in this study various theoretical frameworks are used to explain this concept. It has been found that although it is a new emerging concept in the today era still used in western countries not in India.
