Abstract

The main objective of this research paper is to find out whether the individual Indian Banks use loyalty programs to encourage customers to use e-banking products and services or not. This was pursued by collecting secondary data from Journals, newspapers, websites of selected banks as well as studying and using the various brochures, products, services as well as examining the procedures of selected Indian banks. The study indicates that only the leading banks like SBI, PNB, CBI, ICICI Bank, HDFC, Axis Bank and few smaller ones like IBDI, Federal Bank are the individual Indian Banks that have loyalty programs to encourage customers to use e-banking and promote use of technology related products and services.
