Abstract

The rationale of this manuscript is to briefly examine the development of longitudinal studies and their possibilities and pitfalls of procedure in the field of research. It also delineates few important factors that occur with the investigation of longitudinal data.

Research design linking various literature reviews correlated with research objectives.

Longitudinal studies are significant in enlightening deep rooted cause & effects. They are predominantly essential in creating new facts and conjecture and in penetrating previous ones.

The result data is useful for understanding longitudinal survey technique and to be acquainted with challenges for any researcher.

There are limited studies unfolding methodological issues in longitudinal studies. This paper is trying to overcome the gap of research and provide better insights to the development of usage of longitudinal studies.
