Abstract

The era of corporate organizations paying border service to social responsibility is fast coming to an end. The recent past has seen corporate social responsibility becoming a process from a concept and also organizations deriving value from the initiative. The purpose of this paper is to emphasize the implementation and development of corporate social responsibility and strategic move that organizations can incorporate in their overall business strategy in Indian context. Corporate social Responsibility (CSR) involves the efforts of business organizations undertake to meet their responsibilities both as economic and social agents. During last decades, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategies received a growing attention from both businesses and nonprofit organizations. However, very often organizations fail to correctly implement a successful CSR strategy.
