Abstract

The world faces two major developmental challenges - the first is to ensure that the fruits of development reach the neediest through equitable distribution of resources, opportunities and benefits. The second is to develop the human resource. Human resource is the most vital factor in the process of development of an economy or an organisation. The term human resource refers to the knowledge, skills, creativities, abilities and talents. These attributes ultimately determine the efficiency and productivity of work-force.
