Abstract

Human resources are the main factor of production. Their wholehearted involvement in the working of organisation is needed at every level. Their performance should be verified in the light of objectives of the concern, legal compliance, compliance with industries set procedures, their job satisfaction and so on. Human resource audit helps the management to have a relook over the performance of human resources and provides a base for proper decision making. The paper in hand considers the meaning objectives, process and approaches towards human resource audit.
