This article examines the serious issues associated with conceptualization and measuring of psychological climate. The article deals with the definition of psychological climate as well as the discussions related to conceptualization and measuring of psychological climate based on social constructionist, general psychological climate and multiple stakeholder perspective. Furthermore, this paper discusses the issues related to measurement and cross-level inference problems between organizational climate and psychological climate, where arguments built on previous theories and empirical research to emphasize that the two constructs are distinct from each other. Moreover, this paper discusses the different dimensions and models of psychological climate and figures out reasons and rationale behind the selection criteria. Finally, recent research on climate is briefly summarized.
