An exploratory study of tqm in Vietnam: A case of small manufacturers

Recently total quality management (TQM) has attracted increasing interest throughout the Vietnamese manufacturing industries and its programs have been widely implemented in Vietnam. However, there have been few studies conducted about TQM implementation by small manufacturing firms in Vietnam so far, even though small firms are still dominant in many areas of manufacturing industries in Vietnam. This study has analyzed survey results of Vietnamese small manufacturing firms to examine the present status of TQM and investigate its development and perception among them.
