Abstract

Work life balance practices are organizational changes designed to reduce work family conflict. These practices enable employees to be effective in both work and personal roles. Many organizations feel the need of work life balance which include retention of valuable workforce, reduce work family conflict and reduce employees stress, job satisfaction and better life balance. Thus the work life balance programs increased employee motivation and productivity.

The main need for this study in reliance market is to analyse the importance of balancing work life among employees in retailing industry. The research enhances the need for analysing how employees managing work with day-to-day life activities so as the employees productivity would the maximized. Hence the research plays a vital role for the organization to provide adequate measures in improving work life balance and job satisfaction.
