Abstract

This study endeavors to analyze the determinants of Capital Structure of select Pharmaceutical companies in India. The objective of the study is to examine the factors influencing the determinants of Capital Structure of select Pharmaceutical companies. For the study, five Pharmaceutical companies were selected based on purposive sampling method on the basis of market capitalization. The study covers a period of ten years from 2007–08 to 2016–17. The study applied multiple regression analysis to determine the factors influencing the determinants of Capital Structure. The study found that Profitability is the most significant factor which influences the determinants of Capital Structure of select Pharmaceutical companies in India except for Lupin.
