Abstract

The objective of this paper is to determine the impact of personal adjustment on Quality of Work Life of employees working in service sector. In the emerging scenario service sector is the fastest growing industry in India and emerged as one of the largest employers in the country. It helped conducting business both in national and international trade. Good QWL is important for an organization to attract and retain their employee in any sector. So in this perspective, a total of 200 selected employees from private sector are taken for the study. A structured questionnaire has been developed to collect data from the respondents by using Non-Probability sampling (Purposive Sampling) technique. Cronbach's alpha (for reliability), exploratory factor analysis (for validity) and regression analysis (using SPSS) are used to draw analysis and inference of the study. The study reveals that there is a significant impact of personal adjustment on QWL. Theoretical and practical implications of the findings are discussed.
