Abstract

The Non Performing Assets poses a serious threat to the profitability, operational efficiency and overall performance badly of the Public Sector Banks which are major constituents in the financial sector in terms of number of branches, offices, employees, turnover and services offered. The core aim of the study is to assess the impact of Non Performing Assets on profitability of Public sector Banks in India.
