This study examined the liquidity and solvency position of Tata Steel Limited and SAIL. The present study analyze the performance of Tata Steel Ltd. and SAIL by using ratio analysis tool. For this purpose Liquidity and Solvency ratio of both the companies are measured. The annual report of selected companies were analyzed for the period of five years i.e. 2012–13 to 2016–17. The study tries to see which company position is better than the other and which company is grow faster. The result reveals that financial position of Tata Steel Ltd. is better than SAIL.
