Abstract

Adoption of effective Knowledge Management practices can support higher educational institutions for making to better decision on imparting quality education, increases the capabilities of the institutions, reduced waste of time, support in effective curriculum design and development and in improving academic, research, administrative services and in reduction of operational costs. The Study which is a preliminary survey identifies the various academic and administrative activities carried out by College faculty working in Arts and Science streams in colleges. Further Performance management of the teachers and their perception, recognition and reward systems were analysed and conclusion were drawn.
