The Sugarcane cultivation is the most organized sector of farming which is directly linked to the sugar industry and plays a prominent role in the economic life of the country like India. There have been wide fluctuations in the prices of sugarcane in the country. The production of sugarcane also steadily declining due to this price fluctuation. Hence, the present study intends to analyse the impact of price fluctuation on cane growers and also it tries to understand the problems of cane growers in the study area. The study has conducted primary survey and analyzed the data by using frequencies, percentages and ratio analysis. Finally, the study concluded that, the Sugarcane growers have been facing high input cost problem, the production level and the price of their products are varies year by year due to price volatility. Therefore, the study proposed that, the government should provide supporting price in a scientific manner. It also suggest that, educate the farmers to adopt multiple cropping pattern and there is a need of newer programmes and schemes to create awareness among the farmers.
