The purpose of this study was to assess the nature, services and resources provided by the business incubations in Amhara National Regional State public universities to support the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education. To this end, interview was conducted with top management and business incubation managers of the assessed universities, and personal observation also was conducted. The finding of the study explicitly indicated that the services provided by the business incubations merely focuses on training for students (most of it sponsored by entrepreneurship development program of Ethiopia), and there are severely shortage of resources and spaces. It's very difficult to accept the centers are providing incubation services and all of them are at nascent stages. The limitation of this study emanates from its nature. It would leads itself for criticism because of its purely qualitative research. The universities, business incubators and ministry of education can be benefited from this finding in order to improve the services and resources that the business incubation offers so that the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education enlarged to the best extent. This research is original in assessing business incubation centers in the region and helps to narrow down the existing research gaps.
