Education plays a pivotal role in social development and enhances entrepreneur spirit of the students. Management institutions are gradually increasing not only in urban areas but also in rural belt from past few decades. The advanced change through globalization and technologies creates huge challenges and opportunities for education sector. Management institutions are also upgrading their whole system such as improving pedagogical system, providing intellectual teaching session, providing grooming class, arranging industrial visit and company training in order to meet the industrial demand. This study emphasizes on internal factors ‘SW’ (strength, weakness) as well as external factors ‘OT’ (opportunity, threat) for emphasizing issues & challenges of management institutions in West Bengal.
