Abstract

E-HRM is a way of implementing HR strategies, polices, and practices in organization through a conscious and direct support of and/or with full use of web-technology based channels. Technology has changed the business world many times over. In the information Age, the advent of computers and the internet has increased that impact significantly. Many businesses cannot even function without the use of computer technology. This impact is seen in nearly all areas of business, including human resources, where technology continues to have a significant impact on HR Practices.

HR technology can improve the management of HR and so contribute to the organization's competitive advantage. It is now established that the benefits of the use of technology for outweigh the benefits of just engaging in traditional practices of HR. E-HRM Playing major role to work accurately and effectively in the organization. Many software companies like Microsoft and Infosys have been performing most of their HR management (HRM) on-line (this is called E-HRM). Technology has increased and access mode readily available of HR information; improved communication; improved the speed at which HRM transactions and information are gathered; and reduced costs making it easier to administer HRM functions, This paper consist of Types of E-HRM, E-HRM tools, E-Recruitment, E-Selection, ETraining, E-Pay, E-Compensation And E-Performance Management System.
