Abstract

The purpose of this study is to first measure the level of quality of work life of information among the various employees working in steel industries. This study deals with the effects of quality of work life on employees. It aims to gain an insight into current working life practices, as well as work-life balance issues of employees. Many important factors that influence quality of work life are salary, working time, working conditions, fair and adequate compensation, relationship with other departments, health checkups, job security, career development and effective training programs etc. for these study 120 samples have been taken by the researcher from various employees working in SIPCOT Industrial Park, Sriperumbudur. Structured questionnaires are used as a primary source of data collection. The questionnaire included 22 questions. Structured questionnaires are used as a primary source of data collection. The result suggests that working conditions and salary that affect the quality of work life. Finally significances are discussed in terms of discussion and further researches.
