Abstract

In this research paper the impact of globalization on the HRM within the organization are explored. It is a descriptive analysis, focusing on secondary data taken from internet, various books, research articles, news papers etc. An effort has been made to analyze the current issues in HRM due to the changing face of business environment (globalization). Globalization can be defined as the ongoing economic, technological, social, and political integration of the world that began after the Second World War. There are several dimensions to this dynamic process, including the increased internationalization of economic markets as reflected, for example, in trade and financial capital flows. Human Resources departments are transforming as the modern business faces numerous and complex challenges, and exploit opportunities. The transformation of human resources today is a direct call of the rapid changes within businesses due to factors such as globalization. In the global competition within the flat and connected new world, decision making in organizations has become increasingly intricate and convoluted.
