The aim of the study was to find out the differences if any existed among swimmers, sprinters and rowers on cardiovascular endurance and resting pulse rate. Ninety students, 30 swimmers, 30 sprinters and 30 rowers from AMET University, Kanathur were selected as subjects and tested of their cardiovascular endurance and resting pulse rate using standard tests. The analysis of variance proved that, the obtained F ratio value 7.14 on the scores of Cardiovascular Endurance was greater than the required F table (P<0.05) Cardiovascular Endurance. The sprinters were found to be best followed by swimmers and then by rowers. As for resting pulse rate the obtained F value 1.42 was lesser than the required F table value of 3.10, which proved that there was no significant difference in physiological variable Resting Pulse Rate among swimmers, sprinters and rowers. Further research may be undertaken to improve cardiovascular endurance and resting pulse rate among the subjects through specific training schedules.
