In present times, the image encryption is becoming most popular area in research. Because the protection or we can say security of images is done with the help of image encryption in multimedia communication. There are so many techniques which are already used to protect confidential image data from unauthorized access. Every technique has its own merits and demerits. In this paper we analyzed some of the existing image encryption techniques.
