Abstract

With the rapid globalization of the Indian economy, enterprises are facing with ever changing competitive environment. Enterprises are adopting strategies aimed at developing competitive advantage based on enhanced customer value in terms of product differentiation, quality, speed, service and costs. In the post liberalization era, with the deregulation of Indian economy, the financial service sector witnessing a complete metamorphosis and technology is playing a very significant role in this record. Over the last decade India has been one of the fastest adopters of information technology, particularly because of its capability to provide software solution to organizations around the world. This capability has provided a tremendous impetuous to the domestic banking industry in India to deploy the latest in technology, particularly in the Internet banking and e-commerce areas.

The present study aims to check the usage pattern of Individuals those who are using E-Banking Services. Present study is based on Primary data. The main objectives of the study are to analyze the customer's awareness on various E-Banking services, to understand the problems faced by individuals while using E-Banking services and to study check the customer satisfaction regarding various services. Present study is limited to Rajkot city only and it's a comparative study of Private and Public banks. It is being found that ATM was the most preferred E-Banking services followed by Credit Card, Mobile Banking and Internet Banking. Most of the users of E-Banking Services faced problem in Credit Card regarding non acceptability at certain stores and small shops. The level of satisfaction of E-Banking services used by customers is moderate among individuals.
