Mapping organizational role stress and role efficacy

The study explores the relationship between role efficacy and stress among women BPO employees in Bangalore. The study was conducted in Bangalore, India with a sample of 236 women BPO employees. The sample selection was done by simple random sampling technique method. The data collected were analyzed using Cluster mapping Technique as the objective of the study was to check whether there is a relationship between Organizational Role Stress and Role efficacy and also to check clusters among women BPO Employees are possible with the help of the variables role efficacy and organizational role stress.

Results showed that there is a negative relationship and also showed that there is a possibility of meaningful clusters among the variables of role efficacy and organizational role stress. The results also highlighted the fact that the women employees do not fall under the cluster formed with very Low Role efficacy and High organizational Role stress.
