Abstract

The bank has long been known as a medium to inculcate the habit of thrift and savings among all kind of peoples in the society. But over time, its role has changed and it has grown to become one of the best avenues to channel investment from even the wealthy investors and use them fruitfully in nation building activities. As its role has been changed the customers view towards the bank is also being in change. In order to retain its customers the bank provides more value added services such as internet banking, mobile banking, debit and credit cards etc. This study is an attempt to identify the awareness, preferences and attitude of customers towards various value added services offered by the Banks among 300 respondents of Tiruchirappalli District.
