Abstract

Many times the schizophrenic children are left undiagnosed and their needs are unmet. It is not that the readers are to attain knowledge of schizophrenia only through this article. But the main aim of this article is to remove the misconceptions about schizophrenia and stress the seriousness in provision of care and attention to such children in classrooms as well as in other aspects. Although schizophrenia is a chronic disorder, there is help available. With support, medication, and therapy, many people with schizophrenia are able to function independently and live satisfying lives.
