Abstract

With the introduction of globalization there is an influx MNCs, private enterprises and companies and financial institutions. These enterprises and institutions are influencing the domestic policies of the countries. Though it created growth and profits, but it misses the goals of human development index like equality and eradication of poverty. In this light, the present paper studies the effects of globalization in terms of inequalities and poverty. Present paper concludes that though Globalization has positive effects but it varies from country to country and we should gauge the effects of Globalization only on the basis of social, economic and political milieu of the country.
