Self-efficacy and psychological strain among the managerial employees in India

Abstract

This study investigated the role of general self-efficacy in the psychological strain among various managerial employees in different sectors across the levels and tenures in India. The sample included 400 managerial employees from several organizations. The results of the ANOVA were significant for few variables. Duncan multiple range test was also conducted to know the significant differences among the groups for both self-efficacy and psychological strain. Study found the strong relationship between self-efficacy and psychological strain. Discussions are made based on the results and suggestions are given for future research.
