This paper aims to analyze the theoretical propositions of Pierre Bourdieu's habitus and field with special reference to the objectification of social phenomena mainly of the social structure. Habitus and field will be analysed as debated by various social theorists from time to time. Being a theoretical research mainly the theoretical analysis has been adopted by utilising the debates on objectified structure by various classical and contemporary sociologists. The Verestehen approach will serve in bringing out a restrospect into the underlying meanings of the various components of Pierre Bourdieu's theory. Structure is some sort of ordered arrangements of parts or components. But by the 16th century it was used to refer to the interrelations between the component parts of any whole. Attempt to study Objectified structure is a recent development, particularly with the work of French Sociologist Pierre Bourdieu. In this sense, objectified structure becomes a more useful concept for various disciplines of social sciences and humanities as well as for examining several contemporary issues like development and environment among others. Conclusions have been drawn out from the analysis of Bourdieu‘s theory by various scholars through both functional and critical aspects as well.
